Environmental Noise Consultant

We provide a full range of acoustical services for airports, highways, rail and transit systems, military activities, construction projects, industrial sites, and recreational facilities.
HMMH offers a unique career opportunity for recent college graduates or graduates with 1-2 years of work experience who desire to use their math, physics, or engineering skills within an established and respected company.
We seek candidates with solid technical and quantitative backgrounds to join our firm as noise consultants. As a consultant at HMMH you will have an opportunity to work independently but also learn from senior staff as you use your:
- Quantitative skills to analyze data to determine noise and vibration impacts and participate in noise and vibration measurement trips
- Communication skills to interact with project team members as well as clients and contribute to project memos and reports.

We are currently seeking consultant candidates for our Burlington, Massachusetts headquarters. Requirements include:
- BS or MS in engineering, math, physics, acoustics, aviation management or a related technical field
- Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills
- Computer modeling experience
- Interest in work-travel: field measurement trips
Additional desired qualifications, though not required:
- Experience in vibration and/or noise analysis
- Experience or training in instrumentation or field measurements,
- Acoustics knowledge
- Transportation interest
