HMMH is the national leader in the evaluation of noise and vibration from high-speed ground transportation (HSGT). For the U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), HMMH prepared the guidance manual used in assessing potential noise and vibration impacts in HSGT projects. During development of the manual, HMMH performed comprehensive research that resulted in procedures and criteria used in FRA's HSGT projects in the United States
