The Integrated Noise Model 7.0 Training Course is designed to be responsive to the needs of a variety of people involved in issues surrounding aviation noise, including:
- Airport noise officers
- Aviation planners
- Reviewers of environmental documents containing noise exposure maps
- Preparers of noise exposure maps, including environmental consultants.
- Past attendees have included professionals and students from across the U.S. and a number of foreign countries; the mixture has provided for stimulating class discussions and group interaction.
The course will give new users a firm understanding of the Integrated Noise Model (INM) and provide experienced INM users proficiency with Version 7. We will provide course attendees with a level of comfort and familiarity with the structure and new features of the most widely used aircraft noise model.
