The Challenge
Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) needed a noise and vibration design review and assessment for an underground railway extension project that was in close proximity to hotels and sensitive cultural facilities in Hong Kong.
The Strategy
HMMH provided services related to vibration and structure-borne noise from train operations as well as from tunnel boring machine construction activities. We are currently working for KCRC under a five-year contract to provide noise and vibration consulting services for this project.
