The Challenge
Conducting noise and vibration measurements outside and inside two recording studios adjacent to the new Red Line subway tunnel in Los Angeles. The objective was to document and evaluate noise and vibration levels from subway operations and to compare these with noise and vibration levels from other external sources.
The Strategy
HMMH performed the measurements, which were done on behalf of the MTA in connection with pending litigation.
