HMMH conducts noise barrier priority studies to determine the most effective allocation of noise abatement funds. Our priority study work encompasses:
- Developing policy statements
- Identifying eligible noise-sensitive land uses
- Measuring and predicting traffic noise levels
- Developing preliminary cost-effective noise barrier designs
- Developing priority equations for ranking eligible noise-sensitive land uses
