The Challenge
UPC Wind Management LLC needed an evaluation of the expected noise effects from a major proposed wind farm along a ridge line in northeastern Vermont.
The Strategy
HMMH prepared a complete evaluation, which included a comparison of projected noise levels to existing background levels. This enabled us to evaluate the environmental impacts of the proposed facility.
The Solution
The project received its Certificate of Public Good from the Vermont Public Service Board in August 2007.
