A noise and vibration impact assessment was needed in relation to the construction of a 17-mile tunnel between Marlborough and Weston, MA.
The Strategy
HMMH:
- Evaluated the impact from construction equipment use at shaft sites and service interconnection areas
- Evaluated impact of noise and vibration from trucking, ventilation fans and blasting
- Assisted in the design phase of the project, including specifying measures to mitigate noise and vibration impact
